Investment Spotlight: The Drive AI, Cohort 9

Office workers spend many hours per week on tedious tasks, such as sorting files, keeping workspaces organized, and chasing down documents.

The Drive AI is a platform and workspace that streamlines file management, collaboration and productivity.

How it works:

• Users create, store, and link files within a shared workspace.
• An AI-powered assistant helps with note-taking, researching, writing, and organizing the files.
• Each file has a built-in chat for collaboration.
• Users can generate transcripts and notes on audio files.

While acquiring users for an early prototype, Co-founder and CEO Bigyan Karki discovered that over a third of the prompts were related to file management. Bigyan pivoted to building file agents to simplify these tasks.

With his cofounders, Aamosh Dahal & Arun Joshi, Bigyan joined Founder University Cohort 9 in November 2024. We invested $25K during the program because of the team's ability to build a great product with strong organic growth.

Since graduating from Founder University the team has more than doubled its users, from 8K to 17K.
