Investment Spotlight: Shofeur, Cohort 9

Party bus and shuttle operators run on outdated, clunky software—or worse, paper calendars. Their customers suffer from poor user experiences such as missed trips, poor communication, and untimely options.

Shofeur provides operators with a modern booking software that enables their group transportation vehicles to be booked on-demand.

How it works:

• Operators utilize Shofeur’s software (e.g., Rockstar Limo SD) to manage their day-to-day operations.
• Customers navigate the Shofeur App to book on-demand shuttles, executive sprinter vans. limos, or party buses.
• Operators fulfill every on-demand or scheduled trip, making group transportation an enjoyable experience for customers

Co-founders Zach Castaneda and Steven White met through the YC Matching platform in May 2022. They bonded over the need to fix group transportation inefficiencies, visiting several operator offices and seeing the problem firsthand; most were filled with paper and outdated software from the ‘90s.

Steven and Zach attended Founder University Cohort 9, where they live-pitched Jason at the in-person kickoff in Redwood City. The LAUNCH team was impressed with their product velocity and invested $25k through the program.

Shofeur beta launched on-demand shuttles, party buses, executive sprinters and limos in Las Vegas on March 1st. Customers can now schedule trips across 18 cities in the US and three cities in Mexico on Shofeur's app.
