Aspiring filmmakers often need help with story development to break into the industry. And established producers want tools to make workflow and output more efficient.

SAGA is a platform for any user to create movie scripts and storyboards using AI.

How it works:

  • Users input their story ideas or script drafts into SAGA.
  • The platform uses AI models and APIs like OpenAI to generate dialogues and scene descriptions.
  • Users can use the storyboard feature for visual scene planning by selecting shot types and camera levels from dropdown lists.

SAGA cofounders Russell and Andrew Palmer are brothers who have been making home movies together since they were kids. They created SAGA to empower other storytellers.

The brothers joined Founder University Cohort 4, where LAUNCH invested $25K. They launched their paid MVP in April 2023. We accepted them into the LAUNCH Accelerator’s 31st class with a $100K investment.

The team is launching an Enterprise plan for large studios and production companies. They are also adding languages for markets in India (Bollywood), Nigeria (Nollywood), Japan, and Western Europe.

If you're a builder-founder interested in fundraising and growth, we’d like to hear from you! We review applications on a rolling basis. Learn more and apply at https://www.launch.co/apply.
