Investment Spotlight: Mastertech.ai, Cohort 7
Auto technicians need to know how to service up to 60,000 unique models of vehicles. Also, there's a shortage of qualified personnel (Source). As a result, vehicle problems are often misdiagnosed, and repair recommendations are incorrect.
Mastertech.ai is an AI co-pilot that assists automotive technicians in repairing and diagnosing vehicle issues.
How it works:
- Technicians use the app to scan the vehicle’s identification number.
- Then, they can look up vehicle procedures and specifications for the job that needs to be done. They can also enter vehicle symptoms or customer concerns.
- Through a chat interface, Mastertech provides step-by-step guidance based on the vehicle’s manufacturer specifications and the experience level of the technician.
